Wording Suggestions for Save the Date Booklets The wording on your Save the Date Booklets does not have to be formal or follow any particular etiquette rules. Have fun with these and include information that you feel is necessary for your particular event, while allowing your personalities to shine through! Do not worry about formatting your text, we will arrange the text for you. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have questions or need help with your wording. We offer the following suggestions and example for you to follow as a good starting point.
1) For the first page you should include your names, the wedding date and location.

2) For the second page we suggest you start off by clarifying that an invitation will be mailed at a later date.
For example:
We are notifying you of our wedding in advance
so that you have ample time to make any necessary travel arrangements.
A formal wedding invitation will follow.
3) After that, simply include any information you feel is needed. The following list includes suggestions of what you may choose to include:
• The Travel Information - list the numerous ways to get to your wedding such as airports, train stations, bus lines, and car rental agencies.
• Airline and Airfare Information - list airlines that fly into your airport and any fare specials. You may also wish to list websites that offer good fares.
• Driving Directions - include directions to the city itself and also to the specific hotels, the ceremony location and the reception site.
• Accommodations - include options for places to stay accompanied by phone numbers, websites, rates and room block information.
• Local Transportation Options - list ways to get around such as rental cars, busses, taxis, or shuttles.
• Planned Events - inform guests of planned activities such as rehearsal dinners, day-after brunches, golf outings, picnics, etc.
• Weather Information - allow your guests to pack accordingly.
• Special Attire - from black tie affair, to backyard BBQ- make sure your guests don’t over or under dress.
• Wedding Party Info - include special inserts just for your bridal party about events before the wedding day or info about responsibilities such as tux rental.
• Contact Information - allow your guests to get in touch with you if they have questions…list your phone number, email address, or mailing address.
• Website - let your guests know you have a wedding website and where to find it.
• Area “Sites to See” and “Things to Do” - list all your city has to offer so that guests may take advantage of area attractions and activities.
• Area Websites - list websites about your area so they can research local activities and attractions.
• Area Restaurants - include your personal favorites.
List the information in the order you feel is logical. We will contact you if we feel that we can offer a suggestion about the order of information you supply.

Shuttle Service at DIA: Colorado Mountain Express: 1-800-525-6363 ($63 per person one way)
Reservation department open daily from 6am until 10 pm.
Reservations must be made three-five days in advance.
Avon Shuttle Service: This shuttle service runs from 8:00 am -7:00 pm,
and takes you to the Beaver Creek Village Plaza .
The shuttle service runs approximately every 20 minutes. There is no cost for this service.
Car Rentals: You will find all national car rental companies located near the baggage claim at both airports. We recommend a car rental as the optimal means of transportation throughout the weekend.
